About This

• Beautiful - Large premium packet of Watermelon Rose Radish (Raphanus Sativus) seeds. Heirloom Daikon radish from China with a white exterior. When sliced, this radish looks like a small slice of watermelon, with a green and white edge surrounding a rosy center. Its spicy flavor adds a kick to salads and salsas. Sauteed or roasted, the radish flavor is significantly more mellow. Minimum of 3g (about 300 seeds).
• Productive - Radish germinates after 5-7 days when soil temps are 55-75°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 1-3” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 2-3” tall with a spread of 3-4”. This variety will mature in 60-65 days, plant in USDA zones 9-10.
• Great for Kids - With as few as 25 days from sowing to harvest, this vegetable is a great choice for children to plant and grow. Can also be grown as a fall crop or indoors if given sufficient light. Radishes, make a good cover crop to protect and aerate your soil.
